In the spring of 2007, Sammie Kennedy (CEO & creator) decided to share her contagious love of fitness with women across Canada through her company Booty Camp Fitness, which has grown to be the country’s largest boot camp brand. Since the company’s inception, Sammie continued to seek challenges within the fitness industry and bring something new to women that could potentially complement their Booty Camp workouts. Enter Femme Fitale.

Boxing, kickboxing and MMA have been rapidly gaining popularity among the female demographic. Sammie once again aims to take what has often been considered an intimidating workout and adapt it to be accessible and FUN for women.

Femme Fitale is a sassy and strong fitness program designed to help women feel confident and strong in their bodies, progressively challenging clients with kickboxing and MMA techniques including partner work and pad work.

Kennedy has always held incredibly high standards when it comes to providing the ultimate experience for her clients. By hiring only outstanding instructors, dedicated to providing an exceptional Femme Fitale experience, she is able to offer an incredible compensation and ownership package that attracts superstars through a business process of licensing.

As such, all of Femme Fitales instructors are much more than just ‘employees’. They each own a licensed territory (similar to a franchise), known as a "licensee". As a licensed Femme Fitale instructor, they share in the responsibility of creating a valuable experience for their recruits and licensed location, and are 100% compensated via profit sharing.

As Femme Fitales looks to grow, we strive to sustain an outstanding experience geared toward women who are sexy, strong and sassy.

The Femme Fitale woman is:

1. Sexy. This has nothing to do with physicality, and everything to do with confidence. Her aura of confidence (and if she’s still working on it, fake it ‘til you make it!) allows her to exude an indescribable je ne sais quoi.
2. Strong. In addition to being an incredible cardio workout, the Femme Fitale woman looks forward to developing astounding strength and skills, that will allow her to defend herself in whatever situation arises.
3. Sassy. A mix of boldly smart with a dash of sauciness, Ms. Femme Fitale is full of conviction and determination. She knows what she wants and she isn’t afraid to get it, after all, what doesn’t kill her makes her stronger!
