Omelette’s are a great go-to food when you’re dieting because they’re high in protein, delicious and they’re not just a breakfast food – you can have them any time of the day.
Here’s one of my favourite omelette combinations:
2. Add 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites and some chopped up spinach to the pan and cook.
3. Once the omelette is cooked, get a wrap and…
4. Put the omelette inside it…
5. Add some sugar free tomato sauce…
This meal contains:
- 18g fat
- 29g carbs
- 35g protein
If you’re looking at those macros and thinking that the fat seems quite high, just remember that fat is what keeps you feeling full.
Eating well doesn’t have to be difficult or boring. There is no need to cut out sauces and flavouring, especially when there are so many healthy alternatives available. There is also no need to cut out foods such as wraps and sausages as long as you’re eating the right way to reach your goal (a calorie deficit to lose weight, a calorie surplus to gain weight or your maintenance level calories to maintain weight).
