I’m now 10 weeks out from the Natural Olympia and after a few weeks of feeling like I wasn’t seeing any progress, I’m happy to say that I look and feel much leaner and my measurements confirm that!
I have had a few people ask me about my previous stage weights and what I’m aiming for this time and to be honest I don’t have a definite number in mind. At my last competition I think weighed around 53-54kg although I’m not 100% certain as I didn’t have any scales with me in the US. This time around I would like to be a little heavier (but still just as lean) because that would mean that I have put on a bit of muscle which was my biggest goal this off-season. However, even if I am 56kg on stage, what matters most is how I look, not a number on the scales so I’m not going to let that define me or my goals too much.
I have 10 weeks until I step on stage again and I’ve been putting a lot of effort into practising my posing routine and stage presence, two very important factors in fitness competitions. I’ve also been very busy with uni assessments so have had to keep my workouts a little shorter and more intense and find that I am eating less meals throughout the day as each meal is much bigger than it previously was (because I’m always busy and rushing around).
My current stats:
- Last week’s weight: 59.7kg
- This week’s weight: 58.75g
- Last week’s waist measurement: 63.4cm
- This week’s waist measurement: 63cm
My current macros:
- Low carb days (5 x per week)
- 150g protein
- 68g fat
- 185g carbs
- High carb days (2 x per week)
- 130g protein
- 63g fat
- 285g carbs
What am I changing for next week?
Nothing but my training program (as I’ve been on it for 4 weeks now). My macro nutrient intake is staying the same because my body is responding well. Hopefully I keep seeing changes this coming week!
Some of the food I enjoyed this week:
(I also ate chicken and sweet potato every day but it looks so unappetizing in photos so here is some of the good stuff)
